Summary
Heats had never felt good to Kaeya. They were nightmarish, his body and mind warring with each other until he didn’t know whether to tear his skin off or stuff his fingers inside himself. The need of it blinded him and robbed him of suspicion.
He couldn’t afford to be that weak, that trusting. He couldn’t. He knew the consequences.
Kaeya's forced off his suppressants, forced into heat, and forced to take Diluc as a partner. Things spin out of his control, and then back, but they don't go back to what they were.

Summary
He put his hands in front of his face. They did not look like hands. He knew this because hands usually had thumbs and less fur. And no claws. He turned it over to examine his palm and found digital pads. Thick, reddish-brown hair covered his…he had to call them paws. There was dirt in them, which made him want to wince. He didn’t think he could wince anymore. He continued his examination of himself and discovered that he was, in fact, a wolf now. Or a dog. It was hard to tell when he couldn’t see his own face.
Diluc returns to Mondstadt, gets turned into a dog (wolf?), and tries to uncover Kaeya's nefarious plan to betray Mondstadt. Unfortunately it's rather hard to do the last one when he's a dog.
His solution? Get adopted by Kaeya.

Summary
An old fairytale drifts into Kaeya’s recollection. In Khaenri’ah they said that the Visions were the eyes of god, but soulmates were the work of man. The first lovers had pooled their affection into the Irminsul Tree and petitioned its sagelike wisdom to let every person find love where there was love to find. And so could the first two share each other’s grief and joy, hunger and spite.
Not Kaeya, though. Who would love someone like him?
