Although the hybrid wasn’t thinking about speaking at that moment (his neck was still swollen; he shouldn’t be forcing himself to speak). And although he would much rather remain silent while in that cell, that didn’t stop him from needing to respond to the jackal. “I… I’ll finish you off!” he spat out raspingly, rage in his voice, as he glared at the jackal with all his hatred.
At that response, Infinite punched him hard in the jaw. Then he grabbed his cheeks and forced him to look at him.
“No you won’t.” He says it calmly, but with a hint of treat in his voice. “I’ll be the one to finish you off. I don’t intend to kill you if that’s what you think will happen, but that doesn’t mean I can’t destroy you in other ways. You’re going to suffer, Shadow the Hedgehog.”
OR: An AU Sonic Forces where Shadow is also captured by Infinite (before the events of Forces), and he does horrible things to him during his confinement.

Summary
After Infinite drugs him, Shadow wakes tied up in a cell. He’s pissed off at being captured, but Infinite knows how to calm him down and rile him up, to get him hot and wanting. And just because he gives in to the sex doesn’t mean he’ll stop trying to escape, it’s just something to pass the time while he waits for the opportunity to get out of here.
Finding out that Sonic has been kidnapped too is an unpleasant shock, especially when Infinite reveals that he set up a one-way mirror between their cells. It’s nearly unforgivable, exposing him without his consent. The only thing that calms him down is that Sonic doesn’t judge him for his desires like he feared and even returns his affections.

Stone and Robotnik move back into the crab and start to figure out what they mean to each other. Just when they’ve gotten settled into their new, yet familiar dynamic, a chance encounter with Shadow changes everything again. Robotnik never thought he’d willingly take a superpowered space hedgehog into his home, let alone get attached to that superpowered space hedgehog and start coparenting him with his loyal sycophant turned partner in crime, but here they are. Most surprising of all, Robotnik finds he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
