Summary
When Eijirou loses his job -- again -- he finds himself living back at home with his mother. He doesn't feed into gossip, but he's heard from the office staff about the constant calls from the kid's father. It's easy to pass judgment based on hearsay, whether he likes it or not. Then he meets Mr. Kirishima.
Turns out they both have a lot to learn about love.

Summary
College student Eijirou is an alpha with a unique problem. He can't stand the smell of omega pheromones. Even the scent of his own mother tends to make his nose twitch and his stomach curl. Because of that, he's never been in a real relationship. As an alpha, people expect him to date an omega. So when his friends from school suggest going to a maid cafe, he's understandably apprehensive. Those types of establishments usually employee mostly omegas.
When they reach the Umbrella Café, the building is unassuming. It doesn't stand out, and he wonders if they're even in the right place. Inside, the women are dressed cutely in their maid costumes and the restaurant overwhelms his senses, but to his surprise, Eijirou is attracted to the pretty blonde omega waitress that goes by the name Erika-chan. Her pheromones make his stomach do backflips rather than curl into knots and it thoroughly confuses him. He keeps coming back to the café for Erika-chan's surly demeanor and delectable scent until an incident occurs and he learns that maybe Erika-chan isn't exactly what he thought.
