But also—Soap recognizes, with pathetic resignation—he’s jealous.
Jealous of the random guy Ghost just knocked out and choked unconscious.

“What’s a pretty lad like you doing here without a date?” The stranger asked Soap, after ordering him yet another drink. Fuck, his sergeant could hardly stand; who in their right mind would let him drink anything but water, Ghost thought.
“Stop it, sir.” Soap said playfully, giggling and all but twirling his hair. Putting on one hell of a show for the stranger. Soap would have rather been putting on a show for a much taller, much blonder, much, much hotter man right now. But validation was validation, no matter the source.

“C’mon.” Soap’s eyes are glued to the crotch of Ghost’s cargoes, his Scottish brogue lowering into something suggestive, “We can fix each other’s problems.”
“You’re my problem” Ghost retorts, and Soap’s fingers yank him closer.
