Except he's not dead. He's alive in his office and watching Charlie Morningstar's disastrous interview live on screen, exactly one year before Pentagram City is reduced to ash.
He can work with this. All he has to do is stay away from that stupid hotel for a year and everything will be fine.

Summary
We all know about the devastating fallout between Vox and Alastor, years of a toxic, deeply-intertwined rivalry defined by sad obsessions and complicated resentment, all because the Radio Demon rejected Vox's offer to be partners in the cruelest way possible. But how differently would things play out if Alastor actually had said yes?
The answer to that question lies in an alternate timeline not far from the original, where the future of hell is not fought on blood-soaked streets, but broadcasted in carnage. When Alastor swallows up his pride and accept's Vox's offer, the Radio and Media Demons build up quite the spectacle for themselves, becoming an unstoppable, power couple monopoly with their newest and greatest business, AudioVision. Now that Al's ego and influence is fed elsewhere, the Hazbin Hotel struggles to get up on its feet with no radio host to supervise provisions. But in a partnership solely built on mutual exploitation, the real question isn't who rules Pentagram City, but who will be the first to break this deal.

Summary
Once Vox went by a different name. Not Vincent. A different name that brought him shame and tasted bitter on his tongue. Even then, some of his happiest memories are from when he bore that name. But now those memories are tainted by his current reality and rivalry with the Radio Demon.
Unbeknownst to everyone but himself, Vox and Alastor knew each other once while in life. It was a secret he had carried for decades but now as he lay broken in the wake of his defeat he couldn’t help himself to spit the truth back in Alastor’s face. The look of shock on the face of his once husband was the greatest present to Vox as he welcomed the promise of death with open arms.
His only regret? Not being able to see his daughter in Heaven one last time.

Vox is defeated at the end of season 2. Before he passes out from fatigue and injury, he reveals his two greatest secrets. Is reconciliation possible? Redemption? A family reunion?
