When she finally returns with her company to Eregion for some much needed rest, she learns that Celebrimbor has allowed in a stranger. A newcomer that calls himself Annatar, Lord of Gifts. A so-called emissary of the Valar.
She'll do anything to prove he's not who he says he is, while he is willing to do anything to break her.

“She lives.”
Galadriel knows that voice. That drawled, amused, slightly condescending voice. Her mind is still hazy from sleep but her heart warms with an instinctive flicker of happiness.
“No stew this time, I’m afraid,” the voice continues, rough with the accent of the Southlands. “Poisoned or otherwise.”
His words and the familiarity of the walls around her overlap in her mind, nudging her to remember something. She follows their trail sluggishly, slotting memories into place as she finds them. She takes a moment to admire the full picture – and then comes the weight of remembering, of loss and rage, crushing her with a weight so heavy it pins her to the stone cot beneath her. Her breath leaves her in a rush, exhaling those last little sleepy shards of hope.Or:
Pharazôn is convinced Sauron and Galadriel are allies, and intends to make them face a reckoning which begins back in a Númenórean prison cell.

Summary
The peoples of these lands share many tales, though they are all unique in their tellings. The tales tell of a lady of light who bound her light to the dark lord to hold him fast. The sun may rise, the sun may set, but ever does the lady of light hold the dark lord.
OR—Galadriel goes to stop the Dark Lord Sauron from enacting his plan to create the One Ring. But something goes wrong and they wake 4,000 years later, well into the Third Age, awoken by none other than Gandalf and four familiar Hobbits and one handsome ranger. The road is ever winding, but where does this one lead?

Summary
Freed after three ages in chains, Melkor returns to Valinor cloaked in false penitence, sowing discord among the Noldor. Yet as his gaze falls upon Lady Artanis - not yet Galadriel - his hunger for light stretches beyond the Silmarils.
His plan is set: destroy the Two Trees, steal the Silmarils, and take her with them.
