“So, you’re saying,” Lando narrows his brows, “My parents are paying you to date me?”
“Um, yeah,” Oscar admits, licking his dry lips, “No, I mean, they said they would pay me only if we started dating, which we haven’t so, technically—”
Lando goes off on a rant about how his parents are so controlling and have no sense of respect for his privacy. God, he looks so fucking good complaining.
“You know what, mate? Fuck it.”
The mischievous glint in Lando’s eyes snaps him out of his daze.
“Let’s do it. Let’s get you paid, Osc!”

Summary
Lando decidedly did not get along that well with the other residents of the fancy luxury apartment building he just moved into. They didn't like him because he was a streamer and not some elite lawyer or doctor and he didn't like them because they're all stuck up posh bastards.
He hadn't actually met his neighbour, though. Just knows he's hot after stalking his LinkedIn one dreary afternoon. And that he's one of those elite lawyers.
That changes one morning when Lando goes out one morning for his jog earlier than usual and runs into said neighbour in the elevator. And then that elevator proceeds to break down because of course it does. But hey, at least he can make some money off of it.

He remembers doctors asking if he just saw blurry shapes instead of faces, but he couldn’t answer. Because he didn’t see that. But he didn’t see anything either.
Lando is afraid of life as an adult. Life in society. Life outside the hospital walls, where he spent the last five years. It’s like he’s starting over, like someone split him off from his old life. Like he died in the hospital and was resurrected the moment he left.

Something sinister snapped in his mind. Oscar’s fingers dug into the hard plastic of the phone, almost painful with the force of the grip. “Are you serious? You can’t–it’s one race, Lando.”

And yet the cell phone in his hands felt like it weighed a ton, the image attached to Lando’s most recent instagram story burning behind his eyelids.Or, the one in which Oscar tries to talk about feeling jealous, Lando says they're not even dating and the grid decides to show him that's his loss, not Oscar's.
Also, Oscar who is not aware of the plan gets increasingly confused by the amount of attention he is suddenly receiving from absolutely everyone.

Eventually Oscar couldn't hold it back anymore. "How does it work? The blood thing. The compulsion to drink it."
Lando blinked, clearly not expecting that question.
"I'm serious," Oscar continued, his nurse-brain fully engaged now. "Why does it have to be blood specifically? What about other bodily fluids? And what part of the blood are you actually consuming? The hemoglobin? The iron? Plasma proteins? Is it the stem cells in the bone marrow? What's the active ingredient?"
Lando stared at him for a moment, then let out a surprised laugh. "You sound like you're trying to write a research paper."
"I'm trying to understand," Oscar said. "Clinically. Scientifically. If this is real—and clearly it is—then there has to be some kind of mechanism. Some explanation."Or: Oscar Piastri is a dedicated and morally sound nurse and Lando Norris is a hundred-year old nervous wreck of a vampire, and Lando's been feeding on Oscar's favorite patient. And oh, they're neighbors.

Oscar hadn’t realised just how deep the bite would sink into his very being. Lando’s bite didn’t just mark him; it imprinted a need, a craving he couldn’t shake, one that felt equal parts hunger and ache. And now he wasn’t sure when 'protecting you' had turned into 'owning you,' but by then, it felt too late to walk away. Lando was an alluring trap. One with gorgeous long eyelashes, that he would flutter every time he asked for forgiveness. He’d claim a moment of weakness, a lapse in judgement, one too many drinks and of course: the big kicker.
“We never do anything sexy anymore…. Osc… Come on now.”
As if not giving in to sexual advances meant he somehow “owed” Lando a taste of his blood.

Vampire Lando Norris should really have not brought back vampire hunter Oscar Piastri back to his quaint little cottage in a town full of vampires. But he does, bringing this weird hunter in also brought in extreme warmth, something Lando didn't know he yearned for in his hundreds of years alive.
Oscar Piastri had one more bounty, one more chance. Kill Lando Norris, or he'd have to leave the village. He fails miserably. Instead he's brought back to a vampires home, as, what only he can presume, a human juice box.Oscar woke to warmth and the smell of soup.
It took him a moment to realize it was real—thick, fragrant, the kind that clung to the air. His lashes fluttered, the world a blur of gold from the fire still burning low in the hearth. He was still in the chair, a blanket draped over him that hadn’t been there before.
His stomach twisted in confusion. Lando was nowhere in sight.Series
