Summary
“Real camping.” Duncan mutters, running a hand through his hair as they pull into the gravel road that leads to the cabin, “You know, with a tent and sleeping bags and-“
“I’m not sleeping in the dirt,” Aerion snaps, parking the car behind his dad’s, “Just try to get through the weekend, okay? I swear, we’ll have fun.” He presses a kiss to the side of Duncan’s jaw and unclicks his seatbelt before stepping out. He misses the glare that Maekar sends Duncan’s way through the windshield, like daggers in his skull.
“Yeah.” Duncan sighs, “Fun.”
(Or///; Aerion forces Dunk to come with him for a Targaryen family camping trip, only to realize it's a seven-day family bonding experience, where they're all trapped in one cabin. Oh, and Maekar wants him dead)

Summary
There was loyalty to one’s house, and yet no one ever spoke about betrayal by one’s own house.
“Aeron Bracken, do you deny before the Gods and your kin that you were to have intimacy with a Blackwood? A male Blackwood?”
The blonde knight was held by his cousin’s gripping either arm. Long removed was his armor, and bright marigold clothing. Replaced by the thin material of a sinner's dress. His eyes met his uncle’s almost pleadingly, “Uncle Amo-”
“Answer the question child.”

Summary
Prince Aerion Targaryen was never meant to carry the child of a hedge knight.
Hidden beneath silks, spite, and dragon pride, Aerion endures a lonely pregnancy while Duncan the Tall wanders far from him beside Egg across the Seven Kingdoms. With his father pressing him toward noble matches and the court whispering behind his back, Aerion clings fiercely to the one thing that is truly his — the child growing beneath his heart.
But when labor comes too soon within the walls of the Red Keep, Duncan is nowhere to be found.
And after hours of blood, tears, and agony, Aerion finally brings his son into the world only for the impossible to happen:
The babe vanishes from his cradle before dawn.
Now, with grief poisoning the halls of the Red Keep and fear spreading through House Targaryen like wildfire, Aerion finds himself unraveling between love and rage, desperate to find the son stolen from his arms — and the man who promised he would never leave him alone.

Duncan’s face is a frozen pond. It shatters into disbelief and joy and confusion and pain. So messy. But it’s alright. Aerion will pick the pieces up and build him back up.
He always does.
