Summary
Unlike Recluse, Sage has met, interacted, bonded, and lived with cookies of all kinds before. Between the two’s childhoods (or backstory for Recluse), Sage was definitely the one with more connections. However, even if Sage’s greater acquaintance count was seen as positive, it still meant that he’d have cookies to mourn not long after.
Much to Sage’s chagrin, the sheer number of cookies’ names he can recognize on headstones is enough to leave him tainted with shame. He finds himself tending to nearly every grave in the cemetery nowadays, though it’s not like he finds it annoying. It’s all but become routine at this point.
One day, when Sage finally reaches the gravestones of his two parents, he finds that his dear Recluse has also come down to visit.

A (Not Very Fun) Guide to Being a Virtue by PurefulH34rt

Summary
Sage had started to become more invested in the Virtues, being the previous cookies who held the soul jams before he and his dear friends inherited them. They were viewed by all of cookiekind as godly saviors, helping any and all who sought their guidance. Who could blame Sage for wanting to match their rank?
Sage found himself viewing the Virtues as something similar to that of idols. Though he was aware of the misdeeds they had done later on, he hoped that he could reach a status equivalent to theirs while also managing to avoid the fate they were subjected to. It started with books and research, learning anything and everything he could about the Virtues so he could follow in their footsteps. Almost no source made its way past Sage, even small pieces of information being given to him from his friend on the Peak of Truth.
However, Sage’s infatuation with the Virtues eventually evolved into one of near obsession. Truthless Recluse, having been one of the Virtues, had no doubt noticed and become upset with Sage’s romanticizations. To show him that his ideals of being a ‘perfect Virtue’ are not as marvelous as Sage seemed to think, Recluse comes up with a plan to hopefully change the scholar’s beliefs.

Summary
And no one would ever notice. No one ever had. He'd heal the wounds before they could scar, he'd hide the knife under piles of random documents in an unassuming drawer, he'd lock the door before—
Wait.
As Pure Vanilla got on two shaky feet, it was like everything that could've gone wrong, went wrong.

Summary
His eyes followed the movement of his wings, and then to the hand that held his face so gently, he felt like he could melt in its hold.
That's when he saw it.
Multiple nearly straight lines coated Pure Vanilla's wrist. At first, he paid no mind to it. Perhaps it was simply a mind trick with the lighting, especially with how faint they were. But when he looked closer, he could see how these lines dipped into his dough and how it looked as if something had sliced through him.
He felt his heart drop.
Or...... Shadow Milk finds out about Pure Vanilla's self-harm scars and does his best to comfort Pure Vanilla about them.
