In the blue sea, there are deep churning waters. It's restless and spontaneous. Out of control. It stirs the more he stares, he knows he isn’t supposed to stare, yet he does anyways, not knowing what to do with his time. So he stares, waiting, listening to the humming.
And it seems he’s more cursed than the devil fruit users who gave their souls to the sea, as Siren would say, and he finds the thought funny as he vomiting at the docks.
