This takes place directly at the end of Stalking Darkness. Seregil tried to leave Alec, Micum and Watermead behind because he’s devastated after Nysander’s death. And really, who could blame him? Not Alec, who has lost his father, too; not Micum, who has lost many friends as a Nightrunner. The Aurenfaïe is a mess, for sure. But it’s okay to be a mess sometimes, and Micum and Alec try to remind him that they will be there every step of the way for Seregil to get better.

This taught me how to breathe when I have anxiety, and how to focus on the world around me in order to stop the panic. So thank you so much.
Also the story is great, the characters are fantastic, and I completely fell in love with them (it was at a time I was dabbling in my own ADHD as well so great timing). One of my favorite fanfiction of all times! -
