A modern AU set after school castes that takes place somewhere in California. A series of events in Eren's life inspire him to pursue a career as a Paramedic, and he leaves home for 2 years after graduation to formally train. Meanwhile, his best friend and long-time crush, Mikasa, attends a local Cosmetology school to get her education.
Upon returning to his hometown, a hair appointment in Mikasa's new workplace reunites the two, officially giving their untold love story a second chance.
