Summary
By the skin of their teeth, Shen Yuan and his twin brother Shen Jiu were able to escape the Qiu household with their lives. Not knowing where else to go, and only having each other to rely on, the two make their way towards Cang Qiong peaks in hopes of being accepted as cultivators.
Already atop Cang Qiong Peaks however, is a young, promising disciple, with a very distinctive beauty mark under his left eye. He enjoys his daily routine of training, remaining blissfully unaware of the soon to be chaos a certain Shen will plummet him into.Plot with some good pining fluff :) Complete <3

“Vampires aren’t real, Avid,” Scott drawls, a hand on his hip. He looks bored by the whole conversation, and of course he would be. Of course a vampire like him would be so arrogant. “Why are you so certain, anyway? There’s no proof fairy tales like that are real.”
“Because I-“ Avid cuts himself off, tense as a bow string. He trembles, sharp nails digging into his palms as he bites back everything he could say.
‘Because I am one.’

Summary
Shen Qingqiu manages to change his foretold fate by saving Liu Qingge in the Ling Xi caves. Unfortunately, the cultivation world is a lot less happy about this than Shen Qingqiu would have hoped.
This might have to do with the fact that the Liu Qingge who Shen Qingqiu saved is not quite human.
