Every success will take away a piece of your inhibition, which provides the confidence you need, but also poses a risk you must not underestimate. Much like selfishness, depravity knows no end, either. The only way to withstand and overcome is by learning to control yourself."
A pact signed in blood, a bond forged through pain. A blade to split them apart, a mask to hide they were yet two. When a bad day led to a life-changing decision, another player was added to their game.
[Patch Notes 1.27: fixed a few minor logical errors in the Interrogation Arc and the recap on Kaiden in the last chapter. Writer's block is one hell of a curse.]

However, the agent is understandably distressed by the high priest’s presence, despite or perhaps because of his unfittingly amicable nature.
