Jiang Cheng was pretty sure his life was a soap opera at this point. Meeting Lan Xichen didn't help this thought, though he's surprisingly OK about it.
Lan Xichen has the patience of a saint and waits for Jiang Cheng to see what he knew from the very first day they met.

Summary

Nie Huaisang snapped his fan open with a flourish and fluttered it lightly, “Then it’s a waste of time that your manager has paid for. Come on Jiang Cheng do this for me, at least? How will I go on if my favorite getting-into-the-mood music writer disappears?”
Jiang Cheng really couldn’t stop the snap of his head around as he refocused upon Nie Huaisang, “Get out.”
