Taehyung was hoping for a holiday in which his priorities became reordered a little something like... propose to his girlfriend > spend a minimum of 8 hours a day at the beach > eat himself into a food coma > maybe (maybe) check his work emails if he gets super bored.
The priorities he gets are...not exactly what he'd imagined, somewhere closer to.... don't get eaten by a zombie > don't let cute concierge boy get eaten by a zombie > stop falling in love with cute concierge boy when you only met him two days ago > maybe (maybe) call his ex-girlfriend a bitch if he gets the time.

And Namjoon has never failed him before, but Namjoon had also promised that dragons went extinct long before Jungkook's time - so why the hell is Jungkook standing here, inside this thousand-year old tomb, nose-to-nose with a dragon?
(A dragon that very much wants him dead, mind you. Jungkook is never letting this go, not for as long as he lives - which doesn't seem to be too much of a challenge right now, his life expectancy dwindling far below single digits at extraordinary speeds).

Jimin's life isn't exciting, not by any stretch. He lives to survive, taking each day at face value and wholeheartedly accepting that he'll never have one of those stories. The kind that are found in books and songs, the kind that keep you rooting for the main character, the kind that fill you with an unshakable hope. A fantasy, Jimin has grown to understand, a fantasy that he's certain couldn't possibly exist for someone like him.
Or at least, he was certain, right up until he meets Taehyung - pirate captain Taehyung, who makes those stories look dull and lifeless in comparison, who lives like he has nothing to prove, who loves like he has nothing to lose.

Namjoon can't help it - he puts his entire heart and soul into his music. Normally, this would be fine. It makes for some pretty genuine songs on topics and themes that Namjoon wants to express.
It's not so helpful when you're writing platonic, best of pals, bff songs for your friend that you're oh-so hopelessly in love with.
