Summary
When Tim was younger, he had an imaginary friend. As he grew older, that friend turned out to not be as imaginary as originally thought. Now Tim knows of a world that operates on different rules than his own and he's been keeping that hidden from his family and friends as much as possible.
Until, of course, John Constantine loses a powerful artifact and suddenly his friend's world gets seen by Batman and there's no way for Tim to continue keeping this secret from his family.

Summary
Your brother Jason died when you were just 10 years old, and it lead to the worst days of your life; Bruce couldn’t meet your gaze, the family became overprotective, your exclusion from missions due to your mental health scare was alienating, and the most important person in your small world was gone. That wasn’t even the worst part. You didn’t even know he was alive until you just so happened to come face to face with him. Why did it seem to slip everyone’s mind to tell you? Since then, you couldn’t stand to be around. You wanted to find a way to be useful and a part of things, at least enough for them to let you in. Despite protests, New York is where you went to get a Bachelor’s degree in Investigative Journalism. Gotham then stood worlds away. It’s now the summer of your 22nd year alive. Barbara sends her plans for the family to take a camping trip together after many went their own ways for the last few years, and it was the perfect time as a recent graduate on break, reconciling after what feels like forever. But what was in those woods was far from what anyone could expect. There was no going back to how things were after the test of courage that changed your fate. He’s never stopped following you, not even now.

Summary
This is absolutely cliche to some degree but you are a friend of Tim and Brian, meeting them while filming Marble Hornets, even if you were the camera "guy". The entire Marble Hornets crew goes radio silent and missing, leaving you to pick at the scraps of relationships that you only had photos and memories to tell you were real. When you finally get home from Uni, expecting life to just go on without Brian or your little group to keep you company, you see that he's been spotted in a nearby diner, unaware how bad you want to kick his ass for leaving you with Tim and his emotional vulnerability of a radish. This will be set in New England area where Brian and the reader lived (I know he lived in Pennsylvania, we are going to ignore that for the sake of my plant knowledge)
Not as important but the reader is going to be a Bio major and likes land conservation, I honestly know the most about this topic since I wanted to dedicate my life to it before I went into Forensics and I plan on getting a second degree in the topic.
I made a playlist for this fic, I may update it throughout making this work. Link is: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7pGMjjMI8DSULN9vxMCFAr?si=0b399c06b5ae4481

Summary
You move back to your dead grandma’s house in Blackwood to “heal” and relaunch your true crime podcast after your last case basically cooked your mental health live on the internet.
The town is weirdly silent, the forest feels like it’s staring back, and your grandma’s house is acting like it’s been expecting you (which is… not comforting).
You try to blame burnout and rural paranoia, but then VHS tapes start popping up like out of nowhere.
Now your “soft reset era” is turning into a slow-burn horror arc, and something tall, faceless, and way too patient keeps showing up like it’s been subscribed to your life this whole time.Bookmarked by PrecariousReading
