We prepared this book for you cuties on the Magnoliophyta as a way to offer existential comfort. This is the domestication of a species whose name we chose to translate as Pak'ayli, told through a narrative lens with our journals and research logs. Some of you dear little sweethearts have looked towards us and wondered how we didn't forget you, how we didn't cast you aside when your endless suffering seemed to damn you to otherwise, and we present this as our answer. The Pak'ayli rescue campaign took place around 1000 years ago, and today they thrive on the Aframomum as we (as of writing and distribution) still work to restore their home to habitability. It did not matter how hard they were to find, it did not matter how intense the forces of nature worked against us. They earned our love by the merit of their existence. As did you.

It's a nice and definitely not at all harmful or self-destructive end-of-day routine that's fairly uneventful. This is DEFINITELY not her substituting one addiction for a different one. Nope!
But tonight, La'Trea would finally encounter an event.

The workskin is crucial to this story's delivery.
This is beautiful in ways im having trouble describing. Something about the Doll's vauge understanding of her own unawarenesss, something about the Dolls eternal comfort, something about how hard her Owners working to make everything around her comforting and easy, something about the pet bed, something about the phrasing of "Bad Ones" and "Bad Times".
I love Class-O's in this setting. To be loved so intensely, so existentially, that every atom of your perception can be irreparably obliterated but in turn you will only recieve somehow even more love and devotion than youve already experienced is deeply beautiful and comforting to me.
She is so loved. The abscence of pain isnt enough, her awareness is too high, she's still scared, she still is so close to touching the surface of suffering. This isn't good enough, we have to go further, we have to further free her from the suffering she can only barely percieve. And we will make sure she experiences levels of love, adoration, and devotion that no member of her species can easily comprehend even when she herself can no longer attempt to understand.
"Golden joy seeps where numbness had been before."
It's only 2k words and the focus is exactly tight enough for this story to do what it wanted to do. Genuinely beautiful.

Holy fuck.
I...used to be intimately aware of the fact that I'm an Omega at heart.
But I always used to read old Omegaverss fics on FF.NET and wonder....wouldn't I still be seen as an Alpha? Wouldn't I just get forced into this social role anyways??
I put it down for years and years, as I became that caregiver, that Alpha, the one who protected and provided while wondering what I did wrong to never earn that in return.
Now I'm reading this story, just as I'm starting to learn how to love myself, just as I'm learning how to give myself Compassion.
I feel like Ben. A sort of failed Alpha, an Omega who has to learn how to *be* an Omega. An Omega who has to fight tooth and nail to *be* an Omega. I love him, and I love Roman for being there every step of the way, for ruthlessly defending him, for being patient with him. I dont give a shit what label they put on their love, I care that that they feel so deeply for each other.
I'm obsessed. I've been thinking about this story for days. I want Ben to be happy. I want Ben to be the Omega he is. I want for Ben to be so so happy.
I love this story. Section and Hearth are doing an amazing job with this and I adore every single word penned to page here. This means so, SO much to me. I can't wait to see what comes next.

She Wants You is a story about Affini hunger and thr gears of the compact preventing long-term generational trauma.
Abeille is the generation *after* the domestication war, her father a quiet feralist. Her father side-eyed florets, didn't understand why everyone seemed to break so easily, didn't ever grow to fully trust the Affini, and did not want Abeille to become a floret. His presence over the story is so fucking impressive, and Abeille now wading through the wake of his death is trying and failing to contend with respecting the dying wishes of someone who was too blinded to know whats best for himself, let alone his daughter. He has all the echoes of a bigot and i'm so impressed with how amazing the characterization is.
Abeille, herself, has the exact kind of feverish obession with Campaign-Era Feralism and desperate need to appease the unappeasable that i usually feel radiate off of folks with religious trauma, Abeille is such a perfectly built character. She's so sweet, she's so nervous and flighty, which is why it's so goddamn painful to watch her fight so fucking hard to run away from Miss Vatia.
Miss Vatia is such a wonderful distillation of Affini hunger. A few other stories have Affini like this, and I fucking love them all to death.
She Wants You has its name because this entire story is a chase sequence of Miss Vatia calmly (but HUNGRILY) hunting down this precious little flower. The bondage sequence, Vatia unweaving her pants and then reweaving it into her own restraints was insanely hot.
Which brings me to...HOLY FUCK THIS STORY IS SO HOT. Its blisteringly hot. I was throbbing reading this. Pred/Prey + Ovipos turns out to be an insanely lethal combo to my poor little heart.
The alphabet count down....it literally felt like several successive punches to the chest. it was SO hot. It was so intoxicating.
I'm running out of characters, i havent even mentioned Hope and Astera, but, fuck. The sham wardship because Abeille would and did in fact get off to it.
THE FUCKCIGNG, ,,, CONTRACT SCENE,,,,,,
The contract scene is breathtaking. So many things happen at once that its like my heart was churning but i was squirming from it being so blisteringly hot. fuck.
This story is beautiful. I love it so much.

The way this entire work is constructed from top to bottom is amazing.
Deadass this is going into my personal philosophy of digitization and what it can be.
I love FM, and i'm glad someone found him. They deserve the freedom they aint know they could have.

[ ONESHOT ]
This is *intoxicating*
This might be my favourite night club scene in the entire setting hands-down, reading this felt completely and totally intoxicating. I tried to tell Raeve i'd try to live read it for her but this story proves that live reading *really* good writing, especially in a oneshot, is REALLY HARD.
The *moment* Olivia steps into the club this story goes off the rails in the best way imaginable, i felt *suffocated* the entire time i'd read it and it's done absolutely amazingly.
I read this and I have no clue how Raeve managed to describe the nightclubs soundscape, im deeply impressed and i think this is amazing. at the time of my bookmark this story has less than 30 kudos and thats a goddamn shame to me because i genuinely think its absolutely fucking amazing.
I also wanna take a second to single out the way she writes Affini communication because i think its really clever and i genuinely adore the idea of some Affini speaking in layered dialects to where you can both say sentences and at the same time very directly communicate the intention behind ones own words. It's clever! I like it a lot!!! I love other peoples takes on how Affini language/dialect work, and I love this story. this is amazing and im all the more excited to read viscoelastic.
I just. wow. The sensory scape of this entire story is insane and its beautiful and I hope Raeve is proud of herself because im completely and totally obsessed with it.
