Summary
In the following days Bruce quickly moved to the batcave, Clark gets it, the other prefers his affairs to stay private, but why did that have to include cutting Clark out too? One minute they were breathing the same silence on the Watchtower, a baby between them like fragile gravity. The next, Bruce was gone and back underground, back behind walls that for once Clark couldn’t see through.

Summary
The Watchtower doesn’t have a sunrise.
It has a cycle of lights dimming and brightening on a set timer, an approximation of Earth’s rhythms. But to Clark, who can hear the rotation of planets and the flicker of solar flares like a clock as old as time itself, it still feels wrong. Cold. Artificial.
Still, when the lights begin their slow shift to morning brightness, he finds himself hovering outside the med bay door once more.
Inside Bruce is asleep, it’s the first time in days.
