It took Domino eight years to stay sober for more than a few months at a time. Now, fourteen months clean, he's preparing to return to the city where it all began.
Baldur's Gate—where a nosy, one-eyed bard once warned him to lay off the liquor lest a mind flayer found the last scraps of his grey matter worth eating.
Domi had dismissed him as another bleeding-heart know-it-all.
But the bard had been right. So Domi got help. He got sober.
And now he's going back to find him.

Summary
Shadowheart refuses to heal the wounds she receives during the battle for Moonrise Towers, partly as self-flagellation for rejecting Shar, and partly because she still can't admit that she now draws her divine magic from Selune, and won't use it if she feels like she doesn't have to. Jaheira seeks her out to thank her for her role in winning the battle and ends up making Shadowheart accept healing, and then giving her a bit more on top of that.
