Summary

Bucky is a semiconductor facility security consultant. Steve petitions for the rights of stateless migrant workers in Washington DC after the Flag Smasher incident. In August 2025, they take vacation at Big Bend National Park in Texas, where the border is just geology and the night sky is genuinely dark and something looks at them from a distance and decides to move on.
