    Summary

"But tell me, are you aware of how demonic energy functions? It's importance?" Vergil asked.

“I remember Dante mentioning it was needed for the bonds to form and maintaining them. And there’s the obvious things like our triggers, my wings, your guys’ phantom swords.” Nero answered.

“Yes, those are actions we can take using energy.” Vergil agreed. “But that is not the base responsibility. It functions to keep you alive. It is your power. Your strength, just as is your blood. You know if you lose too much blood, you will lose consciousness. The same thing happens if you overexert yourself and use up more energy than you have to support yourself. And you,” Vergil paused as his head turned to look Nero in the eyes, which Nero reluctantly met as he twisted to look over at him, “were flaunting a lot of your abilities this week.”
    - - -
A sequel story showing more scenes of comfort and care for Nero, Vergil, and Dante alike, more demonic instincts and their mental family bond, learning about demonic energy, and protecting one another still. - Sequel to "Devil May Hug"; recommended to read that first.

I have all the chapters already done and will post once a week <3

    Summary

After the events of Temen-ni-gru, the Sparda family settled into demon hunting out of the Devil May Cry. With time passing, it seems that they can be assured in their strength and safety. However, Mundus doesn't let debts go unpaid and manages to get his hands on one of Sparda's sons.

While the other immediately leaves to find his brother, old faces turn up and danger comes to even the youngest in Sparda's line.

(I do not own Devil May Cry or any of the characters. Rated for mentions of torture. Follows the events of DMC1)

    Summary

“Stupid.” Nero muttered to himself, banging a fist against the shower wall.
What did he think was going to happen? That Vergil would look up and say “Welcome back son. How was the job? How are you? Do you want to talk about how you have been, or anything about yourself?” Utterly ridiculous.
‘Why would he say anything to me? He wants nothing to do with me.’

When Nero is seriously injured after a demon hunting job, it is up to Dante and Vergil to work together to save him. Dante has to help find a cure for his nephew, and deal with his emotionally constipated brother. Vergil, while trying to cure Nero, does his best to avoid talking about his feelings. Nero tries to figure out his place in his messed up family while dying.

    Summary

In his early childhood, Dante did not understand why he was never allowed to bathe with his older brother, Vergil, nor why they had to dress in separate rooms with strict boundaries. The only time they were permitted to share a space was at night, sleeping together in the same bed where the two children would curl up and hold each other until they drifted off to sleep. It wasn't until he turned eight that a tragic event stripped away everything they had known. Only then did Dante finally understand why He was so fundamentally different from her twin brother.
