"Zam was guided through the facility by two of the Martian scientists. They commented on her appearance, surprised that she was meant to be Stellan royalty. Good thing no one would miss her, being so deformed. Poor thing.
The Martians brought her to a clean white room with her space suit and a large map of the ship she would be flying in. They taught her everything she would need to know on how to operate the ship and how her suit would work.
She was even surprised on how the worthless crystal she had been told to ignore in the mines would be the very thing to keep her alive in non-martian atmospheres. It seemed that even rocks were more important than her."

It isn’t.
Instead, he wakes in a world not his own, with faces both familiar and unfamiliar, but those he knows are not the ones who know him. He now must either find a way to return to Oakhurst, or decide if he may still be worth keeping around in this new place.

That's the story of how I give no fucks about my assignments or quizzes but sit down to teach all I know at what-the-fuck AM on AO3. And it is fucking worth it.
