I’m so gonna burn in hell for this, Soobin thought as his hand reached to scoop the soft cheek of the boy’s bare ass.
His heart did stop for a second as he touched him for the first time. What if Beomgyu would wake up and scream, cry, and slap Soobin on the face as he should? But Beomgyu stayed where he was—in a state of deep slumber—not even making a sound as Soobin’s big hand got more and more bold, reaching for the new territories and exploring the things that were never for him to explore in the first place.
He felt like a terrible person. He probably was.
It felt kind of great.

Sometimes Soobin suspected that his brain just made the man up, the sick fantasy of the dying organ. He thought that the real him, the real Choi Soobin, who was probably lying somewhere far away, his body slowly dying of cancer or something else brutal and ugly, and Beomgyu was just a vision, an angel sent from above to sugar coat whatever little time Soobin had left on that earth.
But the vision could not shove him in the chest, right?

A lot of the time they ended up sleeping in the car, parked up in lay-bys and truck stops, just so they could use the bathrooms. But other times, they stayed in motels, scraping together cash between the two of them. Benson had an eerie knack of turning fifty dollars into a hundred and Randy could not fathom how he did it. But he made ends meet, somehow. Enough so that they could dump their shit onto the flattened carpet of sketchy motels every couple of days. Benson would usually end up face down on the mattress, he hadn’t let Randy do any of the driving yet and it was clearly getting to him.
They’d started up their affair by the end of the fifth day on the road.
