Summary
When a patient doesn't arrive for their scheduled appointment, Watson makes a house call that lands him in the middle of something bigger than he'd expected. His patient is embroiled in some dangerous alchemical work, and Watson is soon plunged into the midst of it, finding himself sick, disoriented, and isolated from Holmes.
Meanwhile, Holmes would very much like to solve his latest case: the disappearance of his partner, Dr. Watson. There are just too many people involved, and the trails keep going cold before he can see them through. Will he be too late?
Also are Lestrade and Mycroft actually going to help, or are they just going to make it all worse?

Summary
Jim Kirk is the youngest captain in Starfleet history. He’s in command of the Enterprise, the fleet’s flagship. The captaincy is everything he’s ever dreamed of, and he’s prepared to face any obstacle this five-year-mission can throw at him. Except, perhaps, the matter of his own heart.
Spock, veteran of the Enterprise, takes notice of a change in his response to his new captain. The process of observing Kirk further in order to determine the appropriate action, however, ends up revealing rather more about himself than he’d expected.

An academy AU + Tarsus aftermath fic in which James T. Kirk ends up accidentally parentally bonded to an orphaned Vulcan child. When the father/daughter duo enroll in Star Fleet, hijinks ensue (mostly at the expense of Spock’s previously immaculate but quickly deteriorating self-control).
