"Xaden damn near shook the entire time it took for me to change" (Iron Flame, Chapter 36)
Classic Violet chose to gloss over that detail. My brain decided to delve deeper into Xaden's POV of what happened here.My imagination ends after Violet's mending session with Brennan, which Violet also decided to gloss over. Frankly, I would too, if I were her. But Xaden wouldn't.
"White-hot agony erupts in my shoulder. My teeth slice into the leather as I scream..." (Fourth Wing, Chapter 6).
I used this reference to write Brennan's mending session.- Language:

Summary
Leona works alone, hunting anything she finds, and doesn’t get close to anyone. Not anymore.
When Sam and Dean cross her path, it’s supposed to be just another case. Another job. Another clean exit.
Dean doesn’t make that easy. He pushes, lingers, gets under her skin in ways she can’t afford, and refuses to keep his distance even when she gives him every reason to.
But something is watching her. Learning her. Getting closer to her.
And if she lets herself get closer to Dean, he dies.

I do not own the Supernatural Universe or characters! This is just a figment of my imagination. Enjoy! (Also, I try to stick to the defined universe, but not necessarily in any correct time line following any specific season. So if it's going to make you angry that the Bunker and Bobby exist together, this might not be the story for you. And that's ok!)

Summary
Eleanor “Len” Lennox is a survivor. Scarred, feral, and feared by all, she thrives in the chaos of Basgiath War College. When she bonds with Noxarathian—an ancient, deadly white dragon known for killing his riders—Len becomes something extraordinary. Together, they wield Shadowfire, a destructive power capable of annihilating the Venin threatening Navarre.
But beneath her terrifying reputation lies a fractured soul. Len keeps her scars, her pain, and her dark past hidden, even from her closest friends, Xaden Riorson and Bodhi Durran. The only person who dares to break through her walls is Garrick Tavis, the one man who might teach her what it means to love—and to heal.
As rebellion brews and the Venin’s power grows, Len must embrace the shadows within her. Because saving the people she loves might demand the ultimate sacrifice.

Summary
Violet’s life is quiet, safe, and painfully unseen. With a soft voice and neutral opinions, she conforms to a world of beige. Struggling with her own feelings, she fights to carry the Sorrengail name in her own way. Raised in a world that sought to protect rather than prepare her, Violet was never hardened by cruelty or sharpened by survival. But when her path takes a drastic turn, she is thrust into a future that will test not only her strength, but her sense of self.
Xaden was seventeen when Tyrrendor claimed its independence. Raised by his father in a world where war was always looming, he was shaped to lead and trained to fight. Determined to become the next leader, he carries the Riorson name with pride and honor. Where Violet was sheltered, Xaden was hardened—not by exile or loss, but by responsibility placed too heavily on young shoulders. He learned that love is a liability, control is survival, and hesitation costs lives. But when faith disrupts the life he’s built, the greatest threat to his control may not be war.
Two lives shaped by opposite forces. One forged by war. One sheltered from it. And yet—both must learn that who they were raised to be may not be who they are meant to become.
