Summary
Being the villain was a miserable job. Even before he got sent back in time, Dream knew that he'd screwed up majorly when choosing his path. So when he wakes up three years in the past with a new chance to live, and a new chance to fix his relationships before they even fell apart, of course he'd do anything it took to keep it together.
He just needs to sort out his newly forming attachments, if he's not careful his attachments will be the end of him. Or so he thinks.

“Blue R2 unit,” Peli crossed her arms. She huffed. “It said something about delivering to the Mandalorian. I figured that much, though. I mean, c’mon, not like you guys are that common, ‘specially out here in this dump. What gives, though? Thought you sent the kid to a teacher.”
As Grogu finished the portion of polystarch, the kid gave a pleased belch. He gave a gummy grin, babbled, and looked up at Din.
“…I did,” Din said wearily.

While taking down a slaver ring, Din and Boba are transported to the past, not that Din knows it at first. Dropped onto Sundari, supposed capital of Mandalore, a planet and people Din believes to be erased, what is he to do? Especially when he hears about a certain Sith, an aruetii, who supposedly stole the title of Mand'alor but is not Mandalorian? Well, Din has to take his lawful place, right? Even if that means picking up strays, reluctantly doing his job of ruling a people, speaking to his (two??) Darksabers, and so so much more.

Din essentially fixes everything using the sheer power of Mandalorian honor and will. What do you mean there's an army of clones? Those look like Mandalorians to me. Bring 'em in. And those jetii? Well, I've got nothing against them. Did I tell you 'bout my kiddo yet?- Language:

Summary
The first thing he saw was Luke’s deadpan expression of frustration, the one that always made the Mandalorian want to massage the frown away. However, the Jedi’s expression quickly morphed into one of shock and horror.
“What the fuck, Din! What the hell happened?”
Din shrugged.
“Nothing to worry about. I’m fine.”
The expression of horror fell. Luke’s face showed a myriad of feelings, a little too fast for Din to decipher at that moment, until it fell into one of blankness.
“Go sit on the cot. I’ll be right back to treat you.”
OR
Din is injured and doesn't want to distract his husband with that. Luke has some things to say about it.
