Summary
What was Dottore going to do then, pin him against the door? The man was half a head shorter even in those hideous boots — and that was Pantalone being generous.
Dottore took another step forwards, ignoring the height difference as his presence completely dominated that of the banker. Pantalone had never felt smaller in his life. He swallowed thickly, wondering if that was how a rabbit appeared before a fox. A rabbit, however, did not have the advantage of being able to talk himself out of any problem, so maybe his situation was not as dire as he thought.
Sometimes, all one needs to realise his feelings for the other is a sense of loss. Other times, when those feelings had long been accepted and concealed, the horrifying news might lead to unexpected consequences.

Summary
Just like Icarus, Dottore set his goal for the sun, and yet here Pantalone was, hopelessly enamoured with the moonlight left in its wake.
“And you must understand this, Feofan…”
His thumb traced slowly along Pantalone’s cheekbone, brushing away the tear that had escaped moments prior, the touch warm and achingly careful. It felt almost contradictory, this tenderness coming from the very same hands that had torn apart flesh, carved through divinity, reached fearlessly into horrors that would drive lesser men mad.
“Know that when I die, I will die satisfied."
Outside, somewhere beyond the frost-laced windows of the palace, the world continued to turn indifferently. The promise of war, of divine retribution, continued to loom over them. And Dottore—brilliant, monstrous, gentle Dottore—had always been born with his eyes fixed forward and upward.
“I will die on my own terms.”

Summary
Icy, bloody leather shoes laid by the doorway.
“He deserved comfort in his last moments,” they said. “That was all we wanted.”
Pantalone burst into the room, like a furious storm cresting over the distant mountains. He didn’t speak, he merely made a beeline for the table, dripping blood as the segment upon it laid still, staring up at the ceiling blankly.
“Regrator, what is the-”
Stifling silence. The Regrator reached out, his hand ghosting over the bloody skin of the clone’s face, his expression unreadable.
Oh, how Dottore wished to be the object of those affections. But all he can do is watch as Pantalone’s eyes swim with pity for that pathetic creature, burned beyond repair.
Tl;dr: The clone in Sumeru comes to a grisly end, and Pantalone is there with him in his final moments.
