Les Misérables Halloween Challenge 2015.
This is never how it starts, in books. There is always some sort of showy trick, a flash of light, some coloured flame or suspicious smoke. That Tuesday night, in June, none of this happened. Nothing happened. Exactly nothing.
No tingle, no dizziness, not even a blink.
Grantaire simply put on his shoes, grabbed his coat and bag, and left for the Musain. Like every other Tuesday nights. -

There had been the sweater and cheesecake incidents, but that had been followed by an ill managed delivery of flowers of what used to be two dozen roses and ended up being a handful of buttercups, the fish thing (better left unmentioned, but involving a terrifying amount of sardines, three mackerels and an angry flock of seagulls), and most recently, what had to be Grantaire’s favourite so far, the notes.

Summary
He could go now, he supposes. He has spent untold centuries despising this place, and he really only needed to stay to ensure there was a universe where it wouldn’t come to be. He played his part, set things in motion. Found the one thing that could save him from himself and sent him back to do just that. Now, he should be free. He should find another world to settle in, find peace, leave this desolate land to waste away as it deserves. There is nothing left for him here.
His gaze travels down to Jayce’s hollowed figure, hands still open from relinquishing his hammer, and any thought of leaving is banished from his mind forever.

Jayce and Viktor end up post-canon in another dimension where their counterparts no longer exist. They seek shelter in Viktor's old flat and for the first time are alone with themselves and everything that has happened. They take the opportunity to finally get to know each other on their new level of brotherly bro love.aka they fuck nasty in all sorts of different forms in the astral plane, where Viktor takes Jayce and shows him what's possible.
Note: Jayce is mainly a service top and Viktor a power bottom, but the two swap roles briefly. Viktor is male with a penis in most forms, but will also be seen as trans masc later on
