Summary
She and Ekko talked a lot about what they'd do once the baby was born. Taking turns changing diapers, waking up in the middle of the night to check on the baby, feeding schedules..
But reality set in for Jinx, and she wasn't apart of that schedule. She couldn't bare to even touch her baby. And she hated herself for it.
OR,
Jinx is going through postpartum depression, terrified of what could happen to her baby.

Summary
While they see each other basically everyday, even if just to steal a kiss perched on the stairwell of a shoddy apartment building, it's been a busy couple of weeks, and Jinx and her boyfriend haven't had many chances to spend some time together without any other impending commitment. Ekko's spread too thin, and Jinx wants nothing more than connect with him and make him feel her love when the whole world goes against him.

She did this for him every time he spent the night at her place, unpacking Ekko’s things into the one drawer in her closet that, even amidst all the chaos and the lack of space in the room, stayed empty, waiting for him. She did so even before their first kiss, when they were totally just friends, but fell asleep side by side, or back to back, waking up in a tangle of limbs the morning after.

Summary
You never know what could happen to you on a walk, especially late at night. It's the end of a day like many others, or at least Ekko thought so when he crossed his best friend's front door to keep her company that evening, and so did Jinx when she welcomed him in, appropriately (un)dressed for the heatwave that had been trapping Zaun in a boiling hot bubble for weeks.
