Right as she was leaving, the area before her flashed white, colorful shapes and sparkles bursting out from the very point where a second later An stood. The starry clips on her hair seemed to shine under the faint glow of the neon lights, but Miku quickly noticed a few unexpected details: the thermos she was holding, the golden yellow blanket that hung from her shoulders, and her bloodshot scleras. Both of them stood there, staring at each other with wide eyes and clear surprise over running into each other at who-knew-what time of the night. The silence seemed to stretch endlessly until An decided to speak up, clearing her throat while she shuffled the objects around in her hands.
“I, uh, have mint tea. With honey.” Her voice was hoarse, much more strained than any other events or practices had ever left her, and her throat sounded pretty dry. “Homegrown and homemade.” She awkwardly raised the thermos up to Miku. “Want some?”

Summary
Much before the first sun rays filtered through the horizon, still too early for the birds to even sing, Trey’s alarm clock starts ringing with enough volume to stir him awake from his deep slumber. He extends one of his arms out of the covers and blindly pats his hand around his nightstand to turn it off; once the strident noise has been silenced he starts looking for his glasses, too groggy from a long night’s rest to stop himself from accidentally dropping them on the floor. When he finally manages to find them and put them on he looks down at the body nuzzled impossibly close to him, the main reason why he hadn’t even attempted to climb out of bed in the first place.
