Summary
“Back up, quickly!” Astarion snapped his book shut and jumped to his feet. Looking up he wasn’t sure what was happening. Gale had his staff ready with Shadowheart reaching for her discarded shield, all while Balro was standing, staring down a twisting crackling portal that had opened out on the beach near camp.
The gang is spending a typical night at camp when a portal opens dumping a mysterious half-elf woman in their lap. None of them know her, yet she knows all of them.

"Bite."
"No."
"No bite." It swayed slightly, attempting to maintain its balance. Its head must be quite heavy.
Astarion grabbed it under its armpits, surprisingly heavy for a creature of it's size, and lifted it from the ornate chest, placing it gingerly on the ground.
It scampered barefoot across the grimy floor with quiet plaps. Arriving at Tav—Gods, it was only as tall as her hip—it gripped the hem of her tunic. It spun around on one heel, nearly toppling over with the inertia, to address Astarion. It removed the fingers from its mouth with a horrible wet sound and took a deep breath, or what must be deep for something so tiny.
“Go go?”

Summary
When Astarion awakens in the aftermath of the Nautiloid crash, it is not to a friendly face but the press of goblin steel against his cheek.
Now a captive of the Absolute, he is left starving and huddled in the corner, waiting for the beast that shares his cell to finally strike.
Bears, after all, are not known to be the most gracious killers.

Summary
After a fight, Astarion goes off by himself, presumably to lick his wounds and not have an audience as he heals. When he doesn't return, the camp -- and especially Tav -- gets worried.
Good thing Daddy Halsin is there to wrangle any unexpected surprises.

When Astarion propositions Tav at the tiefling party, he learns that she's a virgin and promptly rescinds his offer for a romp in the woods. He's happy to keep biting her, but there will be no fucking.
Determined to experience this sex thing before sprouting tentacles and joining a hivemind, Tav prepares to proposition other members of their camp—much to Astarion's disgruntlement. He makes compelling arguments for why each of them would be a terrible choice, all while insisting that he isn't the one for her.
