Summary
This is the story of Raela Fairfield, a custom (Tav) character whom I played in Baldur's Gate 3. She is a half wood elf Gloomstalker Ranger/Assassin Rogue, with the Urchin background, whose major romance was with Karlach, with secondary romance arcs with Astarion and Halsin, and whose overall alignment throughout the game could best be described as Neutral Good. Following completion of the BG3 story, she chose to go to Avernus with Karlach and Wyll to try to fix Karlach's heart.
The work is a blend of my own original writing and scenes heavily drawn from in-game cutscenes (with minor modifications and interpretations of my own) and is intended purely for entertainment purposes under Fair Use guidelines. Major credit and thanks to the creators at Larian Studios for their excellent work. Hope you enjoy!

Summary
"The way the body reacts after birth is unavoidable. All his siblings experienced it: searching for a baby that was no longer there, raging and screaming at everyone and everything in the vicinity as if the child was hidden like a sick parlour game. They all knew what would happen after the first time, but every subsequent time might as well have been the first.
What would’ve happened if one of those children had survived?"
Or: what if the spawn having spawn was a requirement for the Black Mass? What if the mindflayers captured Astarion with one of those children in tow?

Summary
The night after the Final Battle, after months of sexual tension, pining, and fevered kisses, Tavi and Gale finally made love. Tavi was on cloud nine. Until several days after their first time together Gale disappeared, leaving only a short letter behind with no real explanation. Tavi was devastated.
Especially some weeks later when she realized she's pregnant, and it's definitely Gale's.
He obviously doesn't want her, so she doesn't try to find him.
But Astarion and Shadowheart have invited everyone to Baldur's Gate for their wedding. Tavi wonders if Gale will even show up and if she should tell him.
If she does tell him, where will they go from there?
aka: Gale is a lovable bastard, unplanned pregnancy, much angsty romance. LONGFIC that will continue even after the initial conflict is resolved, following Gale and Tavi's lives, with slice of life and more potential conflicts. I write wordy messy romantic smutty filth that goes on forever, you've been warned.
NON CON TAG: is in reference to Mystra.

Summary
The Absolute Crisis may be over, but Baldur's Gate is a mess.
The city cowers under martial law as its remaining leaders struggle to reassemble the government and direct rebuilding efforts. As the memory of the Absolute's threat begins to fade, old and new tensions simmer, threatening to boil. And at the center of the mess and controversy, the grand duke's son, Wyll Ravengard, has been elected as a duke of the city.
As a former Flaming Fist and the eldest daughter of a High Harper, Rion knows better than most just how deep corruption runs in Baldur's Gate. So, she's surprised—and suspicious—when the Gate's newest duke wants her for his personal bodyguard. Are the Harpers yet another faction vying for the new duke's heart and mind—or perhaps his head?
When does duty become love? When does service become tyranny? And who gets to choose?

Summary
It all started with the Nautiloid. There was a before, certainly. Isotta had been a scholar and a storyteller—an ethnographer—but not a mage. She had traveled the whole of Faerûn, exploring and cataloguing the people who called the material plane home. Where a wizard might hoard knowledge, Isotta sought to share it. Everything around them was just one big story, after all.
There was also a magnificent wizard named Rolan who had the misfortune to be born a tiefling. He also had the misfortune to meet a bard who claimed to be a scholar, named Isotta. Despite his best efforts to evade her, she repeatedly inserted herself into his life until he finally had no choice but to tell her he loved her, in his own way, and ask her if she might love him too—because why else could someone be so insistent on meddling if not for love? And then, dear reader, she rejected him.

The Way of the Wanderer is my love letter to Baldur’s Gate 3 and the grumpiest wizard deserving of love.
Or: Never write anything down that you don’t want Volo, the capitalist opportunist, to steal and publish.
Includes plot from Acts 1-3, and then continues after the events of BG3.
