    Day 3 Prompt of WinterFalcon Week 2021: Fake Dating/Undercover As A Couple

    Now, I think this is a little different than the usual use of the "Undercover As A Couple" trope because they're an established couple going undercover as a villain couple. Also lol this fic became more about the importance of therapy than anything else 😂 I'm not sure how 😂

    EXCERPT:

    “All the more reason why I should get all my jokey jokes out before we get on Secret Villain Couples Camp Island,” said Bucky, shrugging, “Can’t have the Winter Soldier being funny, wanting to make the Smiling Tiger laugh. You’re not the Laughing Tiger. Need to keep you on brand.”

    Sam couldn’t stop himself from giggling. Damn Sam and his love of terrible jokey jokes. They were totally screwed. And he wasn’t sure if this was going to be his fault or Bucky’s fault, but one of them was definitely going to fuck this up.

    “You look stupid.” Bucky says.

    Not quite anticipating the gibe, Sam’s face heats up. He takes the glasses off, but not before making sure to dramatically roll his eyes in a way Bucky won’t miss. “Here, you put them on, then.”

    He places the glasses on his nose, and fuck. Yup, Bucky definitely looks much better in those things than Sam ever would.

    Of course, that’s not something he’ll admit easily, so instead he says: “You look dumb.”

    Bucky lightly pushes him. “You’re intolerable, Cap.”

    Or: Sam and Bucky find a prototype of B.A.R.F. technology, and use it to take a trip down memory lane (in the forties, that is).

    Sequel to I Still Miss Someone and I Know That I Miss You, but I Don't Know Where I Stand. When last we left John and Paul, it was mid-1976 and they seemed to have come to an understanding. Now it's 1979. Paul has received a phone call from Yoko asking him to come to New York to cheer up John. Though it's right before the Christmas holiday, he drops everything to visit, only to find that John does not appear happy to see him. John's POV.
