Summary
Gwaine stumbles out of a losing battle bleeding and half-dead, only to collapse in a strange forest where nothing behaves as it should. There he meets Merlin—an otherworldly, feral forest spirit who heals him without hesitation and immediately declares him in debt.
The price, it turns out, is not gold, but impossible errands, stolen treasures, and “shiny things” no human is meant to find. Each return drags Gwaine deeper into Merlin’s shifting grove, where time bends, the forest listens, and the creature who calls him stupid man begins to call him something far more dangerous; “mine”

Summary

Summary
The floors didn’t need to be scrubbed. The most spotless Merlin had ever seen them truly. Absolutely not needing of the extra clean as they so usually did. Taunting him with the absurd notion that they were perfectly pristine. Free of mud and dirt and dust. Cold and harsh against his knees. The chore surely going to be contributing to his back pain in the future.
And yet, it was so much better use of his time, than what was expected of him today. He would gladly be here, doing this, then the alternative.
i.e My insane attempt to get Arthur to see that magic isn't all that bad while showering Merlin in enough love to smother him!

When Arthur discovers the truth about Merlin's true nature, he goes too far. Merlin burns at the stake, and in the last moments of his life comes to the realization that without a direct intervention, magic will never be free. Therefore, Merlin takes everything into his own hands. He will go against the Destiny, bring magic back to Camelot and unite Albion himself—no matter what the cost.
