Summary
Ever since long, long ago, there existed an evil inside every heart, every soul in the world. Was it instinct of the beasts and monsters that created it, their longing for food and water that turned into greed and bloodlust? Was it the ancient gods, as the pillars that hold the reality upright, that did so, just so it would be able to run at all, or because they loved evil too much to give it up?
Or was it as simple as spite, an existence born simply to mock and be a contrarian to good, because it despised everything it stood for?
Whatever the case may be, that evil has started to move for reasons unknown, and Finn The Human Boy is at the center of it all.
Lord have mercy on his soul.

The beginning of the series "The Revachol Case Files"A man returns. This is not remarkable – men return to places all the time. They return to apartments, to jobs, to mistakes they swore they'd left behind. But this man returns to a precinct that carries his damage in its walls, and on the morning he walks back through the door, he finds another returning man in the basement.
That one didn't make it.
Something is missing from the files of Precinct 41. Pages torn. Connections severed. A pattern erased so carefully it looks like nothing was ever there – unless you're the kind of person who notices the shape of absence. Gaël Bronson was that kind of person. It cost him everything.
Now Harry Du Bois is sitting at the dead man's desk, reading the dead man's notes, chasing the dead man's ghost through decades of institutional silence. But when he thought he might have been in a normal universe of Murder Drones it turns out the universe might have a more… explicit leaning than he’d have thought. And when one of the most important parts of that universe is an Eldritch god-like entity… well, that might not be as fun as one might think. From one perspective, perhaps.
