You have no idea who he is when you're matched at this month's secret "Blood & Wine" party, but he says that's what makes you kind of perfect. He's handsome, sweet, funny, humble, maybe even a little self-depricating (the fact that he's got muscles for days certainly doesn't hurt), and you can't help thinking he's 'kind of perfect,' too. Then in the dark, by the glow of candlelight, he tastes your blood ... that's when he whispers in your ear, his voice low and breathy with surprise, that you actually are perfect. Yet that's all you have together—a steamy, semi-anonymous few moments of blood and teeth and touching, and then he's gone.
Or so you think, until the evening you run into him again. But you know who he is now. And you know the two friends he's strangely eager to introduce you to. You just had no idea vampires were real before.

Life was getting extremely boring.
There’s only so much you can do once you’ve reached the top. Except maybe get a boyfriend, but that has proven to be a much more difficult task than anticipated. It’s not your fault that you couldn’t bother interacting with people outside of work, only partially..
So what are you supposed to do when a new hybrid enters your home, and a few more after that?
For better or for worse, it was safe to say that your life was definitely taking a major turn. One that that wasn’t exactly apart of your agenda!
