Ghost is stuck in a limbo between life and death when a bargain is struck: Harvest 100 souls and be granted a second chance. "Perfect." The dossiers of his targets are wretched scoundrels, no different from those he hunted in life. This will be easy enough. He'll be back with the 141, hunting for Makarov in no time.
But when it's time for the 100th soul, the one standing between Ghost and his ticket out of purgatory is you. It's your bright, smiling face that beams up at him from the heavily redacted dossier.
Sure, you’re no saint, but what the hell are you doing on this string of dossiers?! Forgot to pay a parking ticket? Cheated on a test in the 10th grade? Stole a pen from the bank?

It all felt like a happy dream, those years so long ago. Especially that one dream, of an odd little boy with grey-blue eyes and a shark’s tail. Surely an imaginary friend produced by her overactive mind. A mind now dulled by the humdrum of Pokyo.
Elena longed for that warm sunshine, a fresh new adventure, and the thrill of exploring the unknown once again.

You could see his throat bop with a thick swallow. “Well, maybe I am afraid of you.”
“Of me?”, you asked incredulously. “Why would you be afraid of me?”

One moment, you're falling asleep in your bed in the sunny state of California, USA. The next thing you know, you're waking up alone in an unfamiliar apartment in the middle of Tokyo, Japan. You never could've imagined the friendships you would make, or the feelings that would blossom for the conniving detective during your stay in the Persona universe. Everything about your stay seemed a little too convenient. It was like something, or someone, was trying to force you into the plot.
