    Peter just looked up at him with a slight glare as he scratched at his chin again. The itch of the facial hair was driving him crazy and Tony found it highly amusing. “You’re in the body of a 15-year-old boy. Why are you smiling?”

    “You’re in the body of Tony Stark. Why aren’t you smiling?” Tony asked with a smirk.

    Peter Parker was just trying to have a normal evening after his patrol - as normal as they'd been after the whole world forgot his existence. Suddenly finding himself in the middle of nowhere definitely was not on his list of to-do's, especially when it turns out he's been thrown into another universe. Another universe where he's apparently dead. At least Tony Stark was alive, even if he thinks that Peter is some hallucination.

    Her response is stilted and garbled, but he gets the gist. There's an intruder, and there's an unknown gas that's been released in the air throughout the Tower floors - where the rest of the Avengers are.

    Soon, allies will be turned enemies, and he'll be locked alone in a building with them all.

    Infinity is a concept beyond the comprehension of most mortal minds. A number so large it can’t be counted. An expanse so vast it can’t be filled. But there are bigger infinities and smaller infinities. There are an infinite number of universes. There are an infinity number of outcomes for every situation. Ahead of us lie more infinite possibilities. Fewer than the infinity of a few seconds ago. Larger than the infinity a few seconds from now. One could never see them all. And sometimes, outside of the most likely, one of those rarer infinite possibilities happens. It seems the one we are on now is not one I foresaw. But we're past the point of no return. Lets see how this one plays out, shall we?

    There were more people on the battle field willing to die for their cause than Tony Stark. Some of those people knew the importance of the gauntlet. One of them was close enough to be the back up when it was falling into Thanos's hands, and Peter Parker couldn't let that happen again.

    "Peter, who am I?"

    He hesitates. "I'm sorry. I... I don't know."

    Peter Parker has been missing for thirty-six days. When Tony Stark finally finds him, he's wandering around New York with no memories, unaware of where and who he is. The missing month is a mystery, and nobody knows what happened to him - least of all the kid himself.

    Peter, meanwhile, is trying to piece together who he was. What doesn't help is the big secret he's sure Tony is keeping from him, or the way the man is avoiding him.

    Nobody notices how the missing month is catching up to them until everything goes wrong.
