Summary
There’s shade three steps ahead, but it’s a lifetime away. The sun is beatin’ down on them still, hot and heavy as their mama’s iron, and Pony’s barely standing beneath the weight. He can’t even think through the cotton in his head, the way his stomach is trying to climb up out of his throat. He lifts a lethargic hand up to rub at his forehead, and even the smallest hint of a shadow afforded by his palm feels like heaven.
“Um,” Pony manages, dragging his words out one by one, “‘m…’m not feelin’...”
He can feel himself sway again, and his head is spinnin’, vision darkening at the edges. Soda’s mouth moves but Pony can’t hear it, can’t keep himself upright—it’s like every bit of his body gives up at once, and he blinks, and then he’s gone.
aka; pony gets heat stroke after a track meet, and he worries his brothers half to death.

Summary
If there is one thing Louis Tomlinson despises, it's the rich people he serves nearly every night of the week. As a glorified waiter, he's forced into a room with posh pricks nearly every single night. It's at these events that he learns of the existence of one Harry Styles, the richest twenty-something-year-old in all of London, known for his detached nature and dreamy attitude. He's as arrogant as the rest of them, even if he keeps going out of his way to defend the staff at every turn. Louis wants nothing to do with him.
Until he walks in on Harry Styles having a panic attack in the restroom.

Summary
Johnny glanced down at the lunch bag and then back at Pony. “When’s the last time you ate anything?”
Pony sighed, staring down at the ground. “Three days.” He whispered.
“Three days?!” Johnny was shocked. “You haven’t had any food in three days?”
He shook his head.
“Pony what…” Johnny shook his head, confusion lacing his brow. “Why not?”
“I don’t deserve to.”
“What do you mean you don’t deserve to?”
Pony finally looked up at his friend. “I killed my parents.”
Or:
Ponyboy blames himself for the death of his parents and doesn't eat. Darry and Soda find out when Pony comes home from school and collapses, needless to say, they're more than a little scared.
