Summary
My first fic in the modern day and it was due to being doped up on painkillers from surgery. I make no apologies, just enjoy our 2 idiots in any age.
Newly single Galadriel gets on Bumble and meets (maybe) her match? Elrond thinks so at least, Gil just wants what Elrond wants and Elrond wants Galadriel to get laid, and Galadriel just wants to buy candles named vengeance and smells like victory. She finds Halbrand Maia annoying, so she matches with some others on Eragion's Bumble......but will she go back for Halbrand? Or just get another cat, or 2?
Again, not sorry, just enjoy it.

First age AU. Galadriel is traveling with a company of elves and her betrothed, Celeborn, when they ar taken captive by orcs, who are looking for the object taht was Feanor's muse in creating the simarils. Morgoth wants it. At any price. They are taken captive by Sauron. Will Galadriel be able to survive Morgoth's quest to make new simarils with Feanor's muse, will she survive Sauron's smoldering obsession? Will Celeborn ever not be a dick in any of my stories?

Summary
It is 10,000 years since the fall of Sauron and the last of the elves had left Middle Earth for Valinor. Sauron was left as a spirit of malice, to never be able to reform. Galadriel, Elrond and Finrod are sent by the Valar to 1853 gold rush California, to confirm that Sauron has indeed entered a fair form and is up to his old tricks.
What will they find in this new world?
