Dan Heng could feel the sway of each step. When the man stopped, he was adjusted in his hold until he was bundled up in the man’s lap, head laying limp against his shoulder. He could feel soft hair tickle his cheeks, and the vague scent of flowers filled his nose. It was a familiar scent, and he leaned closer until his face was entirely pressed against someone’s throat.
