Summary
Sergeant June 'Six' Byrne and Lieutenant Simon 'Ghost' Riley are part of TF141 -an elite group tasked with a dangerous mission.
Each mission brings them closer, and though danger looms, so does the magnetic pull between them.
“There was a soldier in the British army that was captured by a Mexican cartel. He escaped after being buried alive and digging his way out.” June's body tensed up at his story, "One day one of his former teammates showed up to catch up and no one knew he had been brainwashed. That same man went to the soldier’s home and killed his family on Christmas day." Ghost paused, the revelation of his past hanging heavy in the air.
June couldn’t breathe as she listened to his story, “What happened next?” She whispered.
“He started wearing a mask and changed his name, because he was now a ghost.” He tilted her chin so she could face him, “Until he met an annoying American. She was brave, smart and beautiful and ended up partnered with him.”“And when she looks at him, he feels alive. For the first time in years, he feels alive because she’s the only one who sees him.”

Summary
Code named after the Greek god of archery, you prided yourself for your aim and reputation as an infamous sniper. You thought, like with any other job, your assignment with Taskforce 141 would be the same, but all of that changed when Laswell sent you undercover.
Armed with nothing more than a knife and the watchful eyes of your mysterious lieutenant, you’re sent into the lion’s den to lure and capture the enemy. Though, the mission doesn’t go well for you and Ghost is left to pick up the pieces.
You find that your relationship after transforms into something new… something closer. He promises to protect you, and he fully intends on keeping that promise.
TLDR: an angsty slow burn between reader and Ghost following some serious trauma bonding and military fraternization ;)

Summary
The 141 being snowed under with intel and digital tech they can't decipher, ask Laswell to send them Digital Specialist to assist them. She is not what Ghost expects and she triggers changes in his life that he never expected to experience.
This is a slow burn friendship/love story. I wanted to give Simon 'Ghost' Riley some much needed love, happiness and comfort. The story doesn't follow the events of the Modern Warfare stories, but does borrow details from canon.
This is my first attempt at writing for others, so constructive comments are welcome. The story has been living in my head for a year and only recently decided to write it down. I hope you all enjoy a different take on our boy Simon.
