Saving Hyrule was exhausting.
Link's body still didn't feel right, and he kept walking into things and knocking things over on accident, because he expected his limbs to be shorter. There were so many new places, and people, and so many rules that he didn't know, and had never known he didn't know, on top of all the monsters trying to kill him.
So he was just -
Link was tired.
He was still going to help, of course, still going to do what the Great Deku Tree and Rauru and Zelda had asked of him. But he just needed a break.
That's why he was here, in the hay loft of Lon Lon Ranch.
