Summary
Ranma Saotome has a terrible curse, but at least his father had the good sense to look for cures and preventatives before they left China. Armed with traditional medicine that can halt his curse's effects until the next sunrise, Ranma alone heads to Japan while Genma remains in China looking for a more permanent cure.
Of course, this means Ranma isn't remotely accustomed to being a girl when he doesn't want to be, and suddenly thrust into an engagement he wasn't expecting, nobody in Furinkan actually knows he and the mysterious redheaded girl who arrived at almost the same time are the same person.
All Ranma has to do is keep it that way, avoid being her, and definitely avoid getting into trouble as her. Ramna had never been very good at staying out of trouble.
