It’s Etho who approaches Gem about it, initially. Drops down from her ceiling while she’s sorting through her storage in that way he does, then just stands there until she initiates conversation, even though he clearly has some sort of reason to be here. She thinks about calling his bluff and waiting for him to start talking first, but she eventually takes pity on him. Honestly, it’s pathetic. Endearing, yes, but seriously pathetic.
