Summary
When Druid, a far older variant of the hybrid known as 'Steven Universe,' finally passes on, the last thing he expects to discover is a life after his supposed death.
At first, he isn't sure what to make of his new surroundings... but as he starts to explore this unfamiliar version of Homeworld and the bizarre gem incubation program it boasts— populated entirely by alternate versions of himself— he can't help but be drawn to the pleasure-filled prospects of joining this program as a 'matriarch' himself.

Summary
The five core tenets of the Matriarch Protocol are as follows:
1. In line with current era standards, production of new generations of Gems may ONLY take place through official Homeworld incubation centers, and as outlined in the following document. The operation of unsanctioned Kindergartens or incubation centers is strictly prohibited.2. Gem type distribution shall be based on an evolving schedule of supply and demand. Some types may have incubation selection temporarily suspended if essence requirements are a limiting factor, or if said type has hit certain population thresholds.
3. Regardless of type, all new Gems shall be incubated with use of His Radiance, Pink Diamond’s essence as one of the base ingredients. He is to be the core progenitor of all Gemkind.
4. The bearers of these incubations will be known as “matriarchs,” and are to be selected as per His Radiance’s preferences.
5. All matriarchs must verbally consent and be deemed sound of mind prior to their participation in the program.
