Summary
On the second day that Thorin’s company find themselves sheltering at Beorn’s house, the skin-changer’s inappropriate behavior leads to a startling discovery about hobbits. Gandalf (a wily wizard) sees and seizes an opportunity (scam), while Thorin is dismayed but plays along.

Summary
When @lesbian-aunt asked on tumblr for slice-of-life prompts for ficlet ideas, I gave her either one or both [Bilbo and Thorin] get caught out in heavy summer rain, (the kind that gets you so drenched in only a few minutes you can squeeze water out of every last layer) but it's so warm they don't mind, not in the way of autumn rain. Setting of your choosing.
She responded with a beautiful little ficlet that I most naturally had to illustrate - both of them drenched and taking refuge in a nearby greenhouse.

Pippin did not answer. At another time he would have risen to the barb, offered up the wide-eyed wounded innocence that had gotten him out of many a scrape, perhaps even found a way to slyly imply Gandalf’s culpability instead of his own – but he was sick and frightened, and something still hurt somewhere deep, something he did not want to think about.
Pippin reckons with what Sauron left of him.

As snow buries the lonely mountain and the halls grow warm with hearthfires, Bilbo Baggins becomes stranger by the day; sleeping at odd hours, eating enough for three grown dwarves, and curling ever closer to Thorin at every opportunity.
This convinces the company that something is terribly wrong with their hobbit.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time to update.
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

Summary
Blue eyes, crystal clear, hold Hob's in wrought attention. He's blanketed in a warm jumper- black, of course, considering it belongs to his significant other. Dream doesn't necessarily have a smell, but he swears there is the faintest whiff of ozone, and the scent of a forest, soaked after a rainstorm. Speaking of the storm, the one raging outside is the exact reason they sit on Hob's worn sofa, curled together, Dream's presence a safe fortress where the pain still filters through.
Hob has a chronic pain flare up, Dream/ Meowpheus provides comfort. For Day 4 of belated Sadman week! (Prompt; Ice-Cream, Eye Contact, Blood)
