Anne Lister is a very successful property developer in Halifax who has made her fortune through bulldozing (often literally) her way through Halifax to create her vision of what the town should be. She had grown cold and lonely over the years, feeling little warmth or regard towards anyone - especially at Christmas.
One Christmas Eve, she is visited by the spirit of her former business partner - James Hinscliffe. He warns her that she must change her ways or she will be doomed. She is visited by three spirits - the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and a Future Yet to Come. Will their visits be enough to change her?

After two months in paradise Ann Walker had to return back to her life in Halifax, leaving Dr Anne Lister in Bali to continue her work. It's now Christmas, and with an unplanned reunion old insecurities resurface as the perfect bubble they created is subject to the cold harsh West Yorkshire winter and the unknown reactions of their friends and family. What future could they possibly have with their work keeping them on other sides of the earth? Is it time to accept that what they had could only ever exist in that moment and their time will be nothing more than a beautiful memory they shared?
