Summary
Wei Wuxian had it good, for early in his teenage years he discovered a surefire way to "cheat" the system. By convincing everyone around him that he was an omega, he had a built in excuse to hide in seclusion for four or five days at a time and avoid whatever annoyances life had thrown his way. The ruse backfired when Madam Yu grew suspicious, and no one suspected a thing when he actually presented. Karma came for him, and in no subtle way.
A trip to the palace where his sister was supposed to be presented to the Emperor for selection as concubine goes horribly awry when Wei Wuxian ends up in the alpha's bed instead. And things get worse when he's accused of a ruse to steal the Emperor's seed to birth the future crown prince.
All Wei Wuxian wants to do is go back to his idyllic life in Lotus Pier, but extraneous circumstances keep him bound there against his will. And, unwittingly enough, his presence has caused quite the disruption for the small faction of saboteurs who wish to regain the crown for their clan.

He shouldn't do it again. It is a violation of privacy and ethics and maybe laws as well. However, Wei Ying had to stay late to resolve a network connection issue and the temptation dangled over his head like a sweet fruit. Would it be so wrong to double check that he’d accurately addressed the ticket he’d completed for Lan Zhan? Technically, it would make him thorough.
It was weak reasoning, but he was a weak man. He’d seen Lan Zhan leaving earlier, so he wasn’t too worried about being caught. He logged on to see a blank desktop, meaning he couldn’t just accidentally see another search request like last time. Fuck it, he was already here. He opened the browser and checked the recent search history.

His face is smooth and peaceful, dark lashes trembling in the ocean breeze, lips parted softly. He lays in a bed of ruined roses, the red flowers and petals strewn haphazardly across his body.
If not for the unusual surroundings, the scratches and bruises blooming on his honey-coloured skin, Lan Zhan would think he is taking a nap.

Summary
Lately, Nie Huaisang’s thoughts all concerned Lan Wangji’s disastrous love life and how this negatively impacted all the poor souls that had to put up with his lack-of-cuddling induced stress. Stress that resulted in extra strictness, that was.
And, especially, his thoughts also revolved around how to solve that situation.
Nie Huaisang watched Wei Wuxian out of the corner of his eye.
I mean, if there’s someone who’s usually up to taking one for the team, it’s Wei-xiong. But would he agree to make out with Lan-er-gongzi to appease the guy a bit? Or would he consider letting himself be kissed and caressed by another boy a bit too much to ask of him?
